Tommy Chong Visits Hollywood Wax Museum!

You never know who you’ll see on Hollywood Blvd, but if you have a sharp eye like our own Hollywood Wax Museum box office staffer, Veronica, you might just realize that the “homeless” man claiming to be Gawd is none other than Tommy Chong!

After recognizing one of her favorite actors from That 70’s Show, Veronica got to meet and take a picture with Gawd himself. Tommy was on the Boulevard filming his new movie “It’s Gawd!” across the street in front of the Guinness World Records Museum. Other Wax Museum staffers saw him standing alone in costume on the corner of Hollywood & Highland for quite a while, but didn’t give him a second look, which makes us wonder about potential insights he gained for the film.

The indie comedy centers on Earth’s misunderstood creator who attempts to reconnect with mankind via a nightly variety show. It’s expected to be released later this year. Writer-director-composer Gerald Brunskill, who wrote and will make his feature directorial debut with the movie, says he came up with the idea while touring with Neale Donald Walsch, author of the book series Conversations With God.

Stay tuned to find out if we see other stars of the film like Rebecca Mader (Lost, Iron Man 3), Booboo Stewart (The Twilight Saga, X-Men) or Luke Perry (Beverly Hills, 90210)!

We’d love to hear your stories about spotting stars! Post here or on Facebook.
