A military experiment to turn soldiers into ultimate fighting machines has gone very wrong. Alpha Strain, an aerosol gene-altering substance developed by Chemacorp, has backfired and turned test subjects into aggressive zombies. Though currently contained inside the biotech lab, there’s fear that this could lead to worldwide viral outbreak. Your help is needed to keep the undead at bay and rid the world of Alpha Strain.
BUT WAIT!
The self-destruct sequence has been initiated and you must shriek your way through the ransacked testing labs, high-tech storage areas, and even the morgue AND avoid being infected by a zombie or consumed by an Alpha Strain fog. Each area is full of surprises – including live scares – that will keep your heart pounding as you attempt to reach the emergency exit before it’s too late. You’ll be bombarded with sights, sounds, and smells that blur the lines between fiction and reality for some true scary fun. Hint: Steer clear of blue glowing eyes!
CREEPY FACTS
- Real lab data and personal information are found throughout the Chemacorp Laboratory. The dates on the blood samples, the photos in the office cubicles, the medical forms, and the labels on the records boxes all have personal meaning to the team that created Outbreak.
- The rusty microscopes and medical equipment used in Outbreak were recovered from actual defunct lab facilities.
- A small bust of Sir John Falstaff that once resided in the 100-year-old former Lemp Brewery in St. Louis is hidden somewhere inside Outbreak. In the 1800s, the reportedly haunted Brewery used the jolly drinker to advertise its products. It is said that the bust is never spotted in the same place and mysteriously changes facial expressions from time to time.
